We are seeking a hardworking, meticulous, and safety-conscious Vehicle and Equipment Cleaner to join our maintenance and operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for washing, detailing, and sanitizing various transport vehicles, machinery, and specialized industrial equipment. You will balance physical stamina with an eye for detail, ensuring that every asset is cleaned to professional standards to prevent mechanical wear, prolong equipment lifespan, and present a pristine company image. Key Responsibilities
Exterior Vehicle & Asset Washing: Wash, scrub, and polish the exteriors of cars, trucks, buses, or heavy industrial machinery using high-pressure washers, automated brushes, and specialized detergents.

Interior Detailing & Sanitization: Vacuum, shampoo, and steam-clean vehicle interiors, including carpets, upholstery, dashboards, and windows, ensuring all high-touch surfaces are thoroughly disinfected.

Industrial Equipment Cleansing: Disinfect and degrease manufacturing, construction, or agricultural machinery, ensuring all moving parts, gears, and filters are free of debris, oil, and buildup.

Chemical Handling & Application: Safely select, mix, and apply appropriate chemical cleaning agents, solvents, waxes, and rust-preventative coatings according to safety data sheets (SDS).

Inspection & Quality Assurance: Inspect vehicles and equipment before and after cleaning to identify pre-existing damage, ensure no spots are missed, and report any mechanical or structural flaws to supervisors.

Water & Waste Management: Safely operate drainage systems, grease traps, and water recycling units to ensure all chemical runoff and waste materials are disposed of in compliance with environmental laws.

Equipment Maintenance & Inventory: Clean, maintain, and properly store all cleaning tools, hoses, pressure washers, and vacuums daily; track chemical inventory levels and request timely restocks.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience; certifications in industrial safety, chemical handling (OSHA), or professional automotive detailing are a plus.

Experience: 1–3+ years of experience in professional car washing, commercial vehicle detailing, or industrial machinery cleaning.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in safely operating industrial power washers, steam cleaners, rotary buffers, and heavy-duty extraction vacuums.

Comprehensive knowledge of different cleaning chemicals, dilution ratios, and safe application on sensitive surfaces (paints, electronics, leather).

A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is strictly required to move vehicles within the facility.

Personal Attributes:

Exceptional physical health and stamina; capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working in wet or outdoor environments.

Sharp attention to detail, ensuring even hard-to-reach engine bays, undercarriages, and small crevices are perfectly cleaned.

Highly reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage time efficiently to meet strict daily vehicle turnaround schedules.

Strong situational awareness and high regard for personal safety when working around heavy, operating machinery.
