Role Overview
We are seeking a physically fit, reliable, and highly motivated Laborer and Material Mover to join our logistics and warehouse operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the manual movement, handling, and organization of freight, stock, and various materials across our facility. You will balance speed and accuracy to ensure that inventory is received, stored, and dispatched efficiently while strictly adhering to safety protocols. Key Responsibilities
Material Handling & Movement: Manually load, unload, move, and stack freight, stock, and materials using hands, hand trucks, jacks, or dollies.

Inventory & Stock Organization: Sort, clean, and organize incoming materials and cargo into designated storage areas, shelves, or bins according to inventory guidelines.

Order Fulfillment Support: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare goods for shipment, ensuring correct labeling and protective wrapping are applied to prevent damage.

Facility Maintenance & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment by clearing debris, discarding waste materials, and reporting safety hazards immediately.

Vehicle Loading & Unloading: Assist in loading outbound trucks and unloading inbound containers, ensuring cargo is secured and weight is distributed safely.

Data & Documentation Logging: Report any damaged goods, inventory discrepancies, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors, and assist in basic inventory counts.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse supervisors, forklift operators, and shipping teams to optimize workflows and meet daily production deadlines.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience; basic certification in workplace safety (e.g., OSHA) is highly preferred.

Experience: 1–3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, freight handling, manual labor, or general logistics.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in operating manual material handling equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and dollies.

Basic computer literacy for scanning inventory (RF scanners) and logging material movements.

Solid understanding of safe lifting techniques and general workplace safety regulations.

Personal Attributes:

Exceptional physical stamina and strength; capable of lifting up to 50+ lbs repeatedly and standing/walking for extended periods.

Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in sorting, counting, and damage inspection.

Excellent reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of accountability in a fast-paced environment.

A collaborative team player with effective communication skills to work smoothly with diverse warehouse crews.
