We are seeking a highly organized, safety-conscious, and efficient Material Handler to manage the internal supply flow within our facility. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, moving, and tracking raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods between warehouses and production lines. You will balance physical stamina with technological accuracy, ensuring that manufacturing teams have the exact materials they need at the right time while maintaining real-time inventory records. Key Responsibilities
Internal Material Logistics: Transport raw materials, components, and finished goods safely between storage areas, receiving docks, and manufacturing stations using pallet jacks, forklifts, or carts.

Production Line Replenishment: Monitor manufacturing schedules and proactively supply production teams with required materials to eliminate operational downtime or bottlenecks.

Inventory Tracking & Data Entry: Scan barcodes and log material movements, stock locations, and quantity changes into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP platform.

Receiving & Verification: Unload inbound shipments, inspect packaging for defects or transit damage, and verify that physical counts match packing slips and purchase orders.

Kitting & Staging: Gather, sort, and kit specific parts or ingredient batches based on production work orders, ensuring precise weight, count, and labeling before dispatch.

Storage Optimization & FIFO: Stock items neatly on designated racks, shelves, or bins, ensuring clear labeling and strict adherence to FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory rotation principles.

Safety & Workspace Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse and production floor; operate all material handling machinery safely and conduct daily equipment inspections.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience; forklift operation certification (e.g., OSHA standard) or basic logistics training is highly preferred.

Experience: 1–3+ years of experience in material handling, inventory coordination, shipping/receiving, or warehouse logistics within a manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in operating material handling equipment such as electric pallet jacks, stackers, hand trucks, and forklifts.

Experience navigating Inventory Control Software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and using handheld RF barcode scanners.

Solid math skills for calculating material weights, inventory quantities, and checking product dimensions.

Personal Attributes:

Exceptional physical stamina and strength; capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing, walking, or driving equipment for entire shifts.

Sharp attention to detail with an analytical approach to verifying SKU codes, serial numbers, and batch dates.

Highly reliable, punctual, and disciplined, with the ability to manage time efficiently and adapt quickly to changing production priorities.

A collaborative team player with effective communication skills to sync smoothly with warehouse operators, line supervisors, and quality control.
