JOB DESCRIPTION: E-commerce Operations Manager / Supervisor
Job Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the overall E-commerce operational strategy to drive revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction across all sales channels.
Multi-channel Orchestration: Oversee end-to-end operations for multiple marketplaces (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, etc.) and direct-to-consumer (DTC) channels, ensuring consistent brand presence and operational excellence.
P&L Management: Monitor and manage the E-commerce P&L, including cost of goods, logistics expenses, platform commission fees, and marketing spend, to optimize net margins.
Process Optimization: Design, implement, and refine SOPs for order fulfillment, inventory management, customer service, and returns, aiming for maximum automation and minimum human error.
Team Development: Build, train, and mentor a high-performing team of Operations Specialists and CS representatives. Foster a culture of accountability, data-driven decision-making, and rapid problem-solving.
Campaign Strategy & Growth: Lead the planning and execution of large-scale Mega Campaigns. Coordinate cross-functionally with Marketing, Creative, and Finance to ensure stock availability, pricing accuracy, and seamless execution.
Systems & Infrastructure: Own the integration of E-commerce tech stacks (ERP, OMS, WMS, PIM). Drive digital transformation initiatives to improve system efficiency and data reliability.
Key Account Management: Maintain high-level relationships with platform Key Account Managers (KAMs) to secure exclusive campaign slots, promotional subsidies, and early access to new features.
Performance Reporting: Deliver high-level performance insights to stakeholders, focusing on actionable data points like GMV, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs (CAC), and customer lifetime value (CLV).
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, E-commerce, or related field (MBA is a plus).
Experience: 4–6+ years of experience in E-commerce operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Technical Proficiency:
Deep expertise in the E-commerce ecosystem, including platform back-ends and third-party management tools (e.g., Sapo, Haravan, Shopify, ERP systems).
Advanced analytical skills: Ability to interpret complex datasets and turn them into operational strategies.
Strong financial literacy: Ability to manage budgets and analyze profitability.
Leadership Skills:
Proven ability to manage and develop teams in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Soft Skills:
Agility: Ability to pivot strategies quickly based on changing platform algorithms or market conditions.
Problem-solving: A "solutions-first" mindset, capable of navigating crises and complex bottlenecks.
