JOB DESCRIPTION: Field Marketing / Activation Staff
Job Responsibilities
On-Ground Execution: Execute brand activations, roadshows, sampling campaigns, and event setups at various locations (malls, universities, offices, or traditional markets) to drive brand awareness and trial.
Customer Engagement: Interact proactively with the target audience to explain product benefits, distribute promotional materials, and encourage immediate purchase or sign-ups.
Logistics & Setup: Manage the physical setup of event booths, promotional displays, and signage. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, installed, and disassembled according to safety and brand standards.
Sales Conversion: Actively promote current offers, bundles, or discount programs to maximize on-site sales or lead generation during the activation period.
Brand Representation: Serve as the "face of the brand." Maintain a professional, energetic, and helpful demeanor while providing accurate product information to potential customers.
Reporting & Feedback: Collect daily field data, including footfall counts, sales numbers, customer feedback, and competitor observations. Provide timely reports to the marketing team to evaluate campaign success.
Vendor Coordination: Assist in monitoring third-party promoters or temporary staff at activation sites, ensuring they adhere to brand guidelines and operational protocols.
Quality Control: Ensure all promotional materials (samples, leaflets, POSM) are distributed efficiently and that the activation area remains clean and organized.
Job Requirements
Education: High school diploma, College degree, or current student in Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
Experience: 0–2 years of experience in retail, sales, events, or brand promotion. Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
Technical Skills:
Basic proficiency in smartphone apps for data reporting (Google Forms, Excel/Sheets).
Familiarity with event logistics or merchandising (a plus).
Soft Skills:
High Energy & Enthusiasm: Ability to maintain a positive, outgoing personality for extended hours in a fast-paced environment.
Communication: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build quick rapport with diverse audiences.
Adaptability: Comfortable working outdoors, in busy retail spaces, or traveling to different event locations.
