We are looking for a strategic and action-oriented Trade Marketing Specialist to drive brand growth at the point of sale. You will be the bridge between our Brand/Marketing team and our Sales team, ensuring that our trade activities, promotions, and displays are perfectly executed to win at retail. Job Responsibilities
Trade Strategy Development: Design and implement trade marketing plans and activations to achieve sales volume and market share targets across various retail channels.

POSM Development: Manage the conceptualization, production, and distribution of Point of Sale Materials (POSM) including displays, shelf talkers, wobblers, and promotional collateral.

Retail Activation: Execute in-store promotions, roadshows, and launch activities to create excitement, increase product visibility, and stimulate purchase intent.

Sales Force Support: Provide the sales team with the necessary tools, training, and promotional assets to effectively sell and display our products in-store.

Channel Management: Analyze performance across different retail channels (General Trade, Modern Trade, E-commerce) and tailor trade activities to meet the unique requirements of each.

Shopper Insights: Conduct regular store visits and market audits to monitor competitor activities, shelf share, and shopper behavior; use these insights to refine trade strategies.

Budget Management: Oversee the trade marketing budget, ensuring cost-efficient allocation of resources to projects that deliver the highest ROI.

KPI Tracking: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of trade activations (e.g., lift in sales, sell-out rates, share of shelf, POSM compliance).

Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Key Account Management, or Category Management, preferably in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector.

Technical Skills:

Strong project management skills, particularly in vendor management and production timelines.

Proficiency in data analysis (Sales reports, market share data, shopper insights).

Competency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite (PowerPoint for presentations, Excel for data analysis).

Familiarity with planogram software or retail auditing tools is a plus.

Soft Skills:

Commercial Awareness: A strong understanding of how retail dynamics and shopper behavior impact the bottom line.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Excellent relationship-building skills to effectively align Marketing and Sales objectives.

Problem-Solving: Ability to handle field-level challenges (e.g., implementation issues, inventory constraints) efficiently.

Creativity: Ability to design engaging in-store experiences that stand out in a cluttered retail environment.
