JOB DESCRIPTION: Channel Sales Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic Channel Sales Manager to design, develop, and manage our multi-channel sales strategy. You will be responsible for driving business growth by optimizing existing channels and identifying new market opportunities to expand our brand’s footprint.
Job Responsibilities
Strategy Development: Formulate and execute comprehensive channel sales strategies to achieve revenue targets across all distribution channels (e.g., General Trade, Modern Trade, E-commerce, Key Accounts).
Channel Optimization: Analyze the performance of each channel, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements to increase sales volume and profit margins.
Partnership Management: Direct and supervise relationships with distributors, retailers, and wholesale partners to ensure alignment with company goals.
Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to provide strategic insights for product positioning and pricing.
Budget & P&L Management: Oversee the channel sales budget, manage trade spending, and ensure that investments in each channel yield positive ROI.
Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with the Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure product availability, effective promotional planning, and financial accuracy.
Performance Metrics: Define, track, and report on key channel performance indicators (KPIs) to the Executive Board.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in channel management, sales, or business development, preferably in the retail, electronics, or FMCG industry.
Analytical Skills: Expert-level ability to interpret sales data, perform financial modeling, and build business cases.
Negotiation & Influence: Proven track record in high-level negotiations with major retailers, large distributors, or key stakeholders.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the "big picture" and translate complex business problems into actionable sales plans.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (English & Vietnamese).
Adaptability: Capability to manage change and lead teams in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
