We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and physically active Stock Associate to manage our stockroom operations and inventory flow. In this role, you will be the invisible engine of our facility, responsible for receiving shipments, organizing storage spaces, tracking stock levels, and ensuring that products or materials flow seamlessly from the backroom to the front lines. You will balance a sharp eye for accuracy with a fast-paced work ethic, utilizing barcode scanners and inventory software to eliminate stock discrepancies and maximize space efficiency. Key Responsibilities
Shipment Receiving & Verification: Unload incoming delivery trucks, unbox merchandise, and meticulously verify physical quantities and SKU numbers against purchase orders, delivery notes, or invoices.

Inventory Categorization & Put-Away: Sort, tag, and arrange items systematically on stockroom shelves, bins, or racks, strictly adhering to designated storage layouts, zoning maps, or FIFO (First In, First Out) rules.

Stock Replenishment & Fulfillment: Monitor floor or department inventory levels constantly, pulling and transporting required stock from the backroom to replenish display shelves or active service bays ahead of peak hours.

Barcode Scanning & Data Entry: Operate handheld RF scanners and digital inventory applications to update stock records in real time, document internal transfers, and log returned or damaged items.

Inventory Auditing & Cycle Counting: Participate in routine physical inventory counts, spot-checks, and comprehensive cycle audits to reconcile actual backroom quantities with digital database records.

Stockroom Organization & Upkeep: Maintain a spotlessly clean, structured, and safe stockroom environment by breaking down cardboard boxes, clearing aisles, sweeping floors, and ensuring emergency exits remain completely unblocked.

Loss Prevention & Quality Control: Monitor stock condition constantly to identify damaged, expired, or defective goods; flag security risks or inventory discrepancies immediately to the operations manager.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience; basic training in logistics, inventory control, or supply chain administration is a plus.

Experience: 0–2+ years of experience in retail stockrooms, commercial warehousing, e-commerce fulfillment centers, or fast-paced logistics environments.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in utilizing handheld barcode scanners, digital inventory tracking software, and basic spreadsheet apps (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets).

Solid mathematical skills for executing rapid unit counting, multiplying case quantities, and auditing shipping manifests.

Deep understanding of proper ergonomic lifting techniques and standard warehouse safety protocols.

Personal Attributes:

Exceptional physical stamina and mobility; capable of lifting up to 40–50 lbs repeatedly, bending, reaching overhead, climbing step ladders, and standing for full shifts.

Sharp attention to detail, with an innate ability to catch minor errors in SKU codes, color codes, or product descriptions that others might overlook.

Highly reliable, self-disciplined, and punctual, with a strong internal drive to execute tasks independently with minimal supervision.

Excellent situational awareness to spot storage hazards, fragile packaging risks, or organizational bottlenecks in high-volume environments.
